Who handles your information

I’m Maria McKay, responsible for personal information used by Maria’s Home Made Crafts. For enquiries or privacy requests, email mckaym102@gmail.com.

Enquiries

I use your name, email address, message and subsequent correspondence to answer your enquiry. I handle enquiries myself through Gmail and do not send marketing emails. Please do not include sensitive personal information.

My lawful basis for general enquiries is legitimate interests: responding to people who contact me about my crafts. Providing information is voluntary, but I need an email address and message to reply through the form.

Services involved

Cloudflare Pages hosts this website. Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses and traffic data to deliver and protect the site. My legitimate interest is keeping the website available and secure. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for its processing, retention and international transfer information.

The form sends your details to Formspree, which processes submissions and delivers them to my Gmail inbox. Formspree may also collect technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, for its service and security. Its verification page uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam.

These providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their privacy information explains their processing and international transfer arrangements: Formspree privacy policy and Google privacy policy.

How long I keep enquiries

I normally delete enquiry correspondence from my Gmail account six months after the enquiry is resolved. If a record is needed for a legal obligation, an ongoing dispute or another specific, necessary reason, I keep only what is necessary for that purpose and review it when the matter ends. Copies held by service providers follow their own retention arrangements.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a portable copy. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact me using the email above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). I do not use your enquiry to make automated decisions about you.

Cookies and external pages

This page’s files contain no analytics, advertising trackers or code that sets cookies. Sending the form takes you to Formspree, where its own and Google’s privacy and cookie arrangements apply. You can use the email link instead.
